92nd annual lectureship to kick off Sunday

Harding University’s 92nd annual Bible Lectureship will be held on campus Sept. 27-30. Christians from across the country will join together for a period of spiritual growth and fellowship under the theme “Secrets of the Kingdom: Unlocking the Treasures of the Parables.”

With a lineup of approximately 150 classes throughout the four-day conference, attendees will learn from a variety of speakers on topics surrounding the parables. Chinese and Spanish Bible classes and lectures will also be offered.

The keynote speakers this year include:

  • Randy Harris of Abilene, Texas, Sept. 27, 7 p.m.
  • Bobbie Solley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Sept. 28, 2015, 8:30 a.m., and Sept. 29 at 3 p.m.
  • Clay Smith of Searcy, Arkansas, Sept. 28, 11 a.m.
  • Steve Cloer of Fort Worth, Texas, Sept. 28, 7 p.m.
  • Chris Altrock of Bartlett, Tennessee, Sept. 29, 11 a.m.
  • Monte Cox of Searcy, Arkansas, Sept. 29, 7 p.m.
  • Bruce McLarty of Searcy, Arkansas, Sept. 30, 7 p.m.
  • Lisa Robertson of West Monroe, Louisiana, Sept. 30, 3 p.m.
Student speakers will lecture on Sept. 29-30 and include:
  • Jenna Montgomery of Searcy, Arkansas, early childhood education major, Sept. 29, 4 p.m.
  • Brent Hall of Morris, Oklahoma, Bible and ministry major, Sept. 29, 4 p.m.
  • Jessica Markwood of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Bible and missions major, Sept. 29, 5 p.m.
  • Austin Yates of Searcy, Arkansas, accounting major, Sept. 29, 5 p.m.
  • Jane Vanderburgh of Nashville, Tennessee, general studies major, Sept. 30, 4 p.m.
  • Philip Baird of Searcy, Arkansas, Bible and preaching major, Sept. 30, 4 p.m.
  • Brooke Kehl of Searcy, Arkansas, public relations major, Sept. 30, 5 p.m.
  • Kyle Johnson of Union, South Carolina, Bible and preaching major, Sept. 30, 5 p.m.
The Harding Academy Chorus and Harding University’s Chorus, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Good News Singers, and Belles and Beaux will all be sharing their musical talents with performances throughout the week.
