Di Wu continues concert series

On Jan. 22, Di Wu performed in Harding University’s Administration Auditorium at 7 p.m. as part of the University’s concert series.

Wu, a Chinese-American pianist finalist in the 2009 Van Cliburn Competition and winner of the Juilliard School’s Petschek Award and Virtuosi Prize at Lisbon’s prestigious Vendome Competition, is currently based in New York. Wu is praised in the Wall Street Journal as “a most mature and sensitive pianist” and named one of the “up-and-coming talents” in classical music.

Her program included Sergei Prokofiev’s “10 Pieces from Romeo and Juliet” and Claude Debussy’s “Preludes, Book 1.”
