The department of music will host pianist Tatiana R. Mann on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium. Mann is the second performer in the University’s 2016-17 Arts and Life Concert Series.

Mann has traveled across North America, Europe and Australia as a soloist and recitalist. She routinely performs with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, and her performance of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with the Oxford Pops Orchestra was praised by the British Broadcasting Corporation as “accurate and with rarely seen joy.”

While earning degrees from Manhattan School of Music, the Royal Academy of Music in London and the University of Minnesota, Mann studied under pianists Marina Mdivani and Caio Pagano. In her Harding performance, Mann will play works by W. A. Mozart, R. Schumann, F. Mendelssohn and M. Ravel.

Tickets are $5 at the door and $3 if purchased in advance. Season tickets are available for $10. Information about the complete season and a link to purchase tickets can be found at www.harding.edu/arts-sciences/music/performance-series/.
