This year’s Spring Sing performance was dedicated to Blake Hunter, a former Spring Sing host, ensemble member, club show director, show choreographer and theatre student who passed away in 2016.

“Blake was a theatre major who loved performing — who loved people, especially children, and loved his God,” Dr. Steve Frye said. “He will always be a part of the theatre family at Harding University.”

His parents, Steve and Dedra, presented the first Blake Hunter Memorial Theatre Scholarship to Katt Stinnett in the amount of $4,000.

The 2018 Spring Sing theme will be "Heroes and Villains."

"I promise you it will be explosive," Frye said.
