University appoints Tim Bewley to Board of Trustees

Harding University added Nashville, Tennessee, businessman Tim Bewley to its board of trustees during the board’s semiannual meeting in Searcy on May 4.

Bewley is senior vice president of Pinnacle Financial Partners. He previously served as first vice president at SunTrust Bank, chief deposit officer and vice president of Avenue Bank, as well as in positions as branch manager and then corporate treasury management officer for Regions Bank in Middle Tennessee and Dallas.

Bewley graduated from Harding in 2003 with a Bachelor’s in management and finance. He was named to Nashville’s Top 30 under 30 in 2009 and was one of Nashville Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 in 2010 and a Power Leader in Finance in 2016. He and his wife, Holly, were named Harding’s Young Alumni of the Year in 2013.

Bewley will attend his first board meeting when it convenes again in October. His appointment brings the number to 26 men and women serving as Harding’s governing body.
