Spring Sing participants award nearly $6K to local charities

It has been 24 months since we celebrated our students and our university through Spring Sing. This weekend, students, faculty and production crew members came together to perform Spring Sing 2021, “Twice Upon a Time.” We were able to host a limited live audience approved by the Arkansas Department of Health. A total of 500 student performers were masked onstage for seven different social club shows that featured a number of themes. Audience seating required masks and social distancing, resulting in about 900 people for each performance. After four performances April 15-17, nine judges collaborated to announce the winners in four individual categories and overall on April 17. Total, clubs awarded $5,600 to chosen charities. The results were as follows:
