Yoshiya Noguchi earned a Master of Arts in Religion from Harding School of Theology and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Ibaraki Christian University and a Master of Divinity from Tokyo Union Theological Seminary. Emiko Noguchi graduated from Harding with a Bachelor of Science and also earned a Master of Divinity from Harding School of Theology. Yoshiya currently serves in multiple capacities: minister at the Ochanomizu Church of Christ in Tokyo, chaplain at Ibaraki Christian University, and Dean of the Japan School of Evangelism. Emiko is a teacher at the Japan School of Evangelism and a homemaker. Together, the Noguchis educate and support prospective missionaries, imparting the importance of the Good News. In Japan, less than one percent of the population are Christians. The Noguchis are doing their part to change that. Seeing the way lives change when people learn about God gives them their purpose. They serve God very apparently in their careers and daily deeds, but they also value serving God in the little moments. Through their example and roles, the Noguchis hope to one day see Japan overflowing with Christians, rejoicing in God.
