We invite you to celebrate HOMEcoming 2020, virtually

Oct.16, 2020 | Homecoming |

Harding University invites you to celebrate its 96th anniversary Oct. 29-31, online. The celebration, a virtual experience, will provide numerous opportunities for alumni to reconnect with their alma mater for a lineup of spirit and camaraderie building activities from the comfort of their homes.

“It's hard to imagine Homecoming without the energy of our alumni back on campus, but we are excited to offer a virtual program that will allow everyone to participate online and not miss a single event,” said Heather Kemper, director of alumni and parent relations. “Being able to honor our outstanding alumni is an important tradition that will continue this year through the virtual Black and Gold Banquet where you will hear some very inspiring stories from alumni around the world who are making a significant impact in their fields. We will miss the hustle and bustle of Homecoming weekend and can't wait to host our alumni on campus again!”

The Homecoming weekend will celebrate everything students, alumni, faculty, staff and community love about Harding and give a special look at life on campus during this time. Tune in for performances from the Thundering Herd, Belles and Beaux, Pied Pipers, a special theatre presentation, the “Live at Five” broadcast, the presentation of Alumni Awards at the virtual Black and Gold Banquet, and the crowning of the Homecoming queen during a parade on campus. The parade is a closed event, but you can watch it live via streaming. In addition to live performances, there will also be past year’s activities that can be viewed on demand such as Homecoming football games from previous years.
