Bethany Blake holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and a doctorate in physical therapy from Harding. She started her career in orthopedic physical therapy, but as she worked with more and more pregnant patients, she realized she needed to learn more. She started to take more courses in pelvic health so she could better serve these patients. Along the way, she realized a career in pelvic health was the path she was meant to take. She is a co-founder of Arkansas Pelvic Health, where she is also a practicing pelvic floor therapist. Bethany’s favorite part of her job is being able to serve people with deep wounds. These wounds are often invisible and complex, but Bethany's integral role is helping her patients navigate them as they move through different stages of life. She finds purpose in the small moments. Seemingly insignificant changes can mean everything to the person experiencing them, and Bethany has the privilege of guiding patients through these personal journeys. This work earned her the 2025 Face of Pelvic Health award.
