72 Hours in Searcy

If your understanding of Searcy comes primarily from walking around Harding’s campus or your student’s social media posts, you might associate it with the Benson Auditorium, the front lawn, Midnight Oil or white swings. However, today Searcy is a small but growing city with new restaurants, activities, coffee shops and entertainment. At the heart of it all is Harding University, a home for students for nearly 100 years. This Homecoming weekend we want to maximize your Searcy experience as you enjoy Harding’s celebration. From off-campus activities such as the vibrant Art Alley downtown to the fun family atmosphere at the Searcy Skate Rink, there are endless opportunities to enjoy your weekend. In addition, there will be many on-campus events such as the iconic Bison tailgate and football game; Homecoming musical, “Tuck Everlasting”; and a front lawn family picnic. We invite you to explore all Harding and Searcy have to offer!
